Mr Eng Chien Chan has joined Bank of Singapore as Market Group Head for Greater China, effective 17 March 2026. Based in Singapore, he will report to Mr Rickie Chan, Head of Private Banking, Greater China, and Chief Executive, Hong Kong Branch.


An industry veteran with close to 30 years in the banking industry, Eng Chien brings with him extensive leadership experience, deep regional knowledge, and a proven track record of delivering business impact. Prior to joining Bank of Singapore, he served as Market Head for Taiwan and Co‑Head for Offshore China at HSBC Private Bank in Singapore, where he led strong business growth. He has also held senior leadership roles at Credit Suisse, Nomura, and Citi, overseeing teams across global markets, and event‑driven and cross‑asset structured solutions.
