IGN has revealed the first international poster for Christophe Gans‘ return to the Silent Hill franchise in Return to Silent Hill. Once again, this new poster focuses on Jeremy Irvine‘s James Sunderland, along with featuring the iconic Pyramid Head reflected in James’ eye.

Coming to theatres January 2026, Return to Silent Hill stars Irvine as James Sunderland, a man “broken after his relationship with the love of his life, Mary, ends. When James receives a mysterious letter from Mary, asking him to come back to the town of Silent Hill, he finds that the once-recognizable town has transformed by an unknown evil.

“While James desperately searches for Mary, he encounters terrifying creatures and begins to unravel the mystery of what happened to the town. But as he descends deeper into the darkness, the secrets he uncovers lead to a horrifying truth, and James finds himself struggling to hold on long enough to save his one true love.”

Along with Jeremy Irvine, the film also stars Hannah Emily Anderson as Mary Crane, and Evie Templeton as Laura. Gans will also be writing the film, alongside Sandra Vo-Anh and William Schneider.

Despite its initial appearance, the film is more of a standalone story that isn’t totally connected to 2006’s Silent Hill, or the 2012 sequel, Silent Hill: Revelation.

Cineverse & Bloody Disgusting will be distributing Return to Silent Hill in theaters.
