The actress recently spoke about the current political climate of the U.S., acknowledging that the country is in a very dicey position at the moment.
Jolie reportedly has plans to relocate from the U.S. and has been “eyeing” several locations abroad.

Angelina Jolie was recently interviewed in San Sebastian during a press conference for her new film, “Couture.”
The 50-year-old star was asked to speak on the current political landscape in the U.S., and she acknowledged that she had to pick her words carefully due to the sensitive nature of the topic.
“It’s a very difficult question. I have to say that I love my country and I don’t, at this time, recognize my country,” she said.
The Academy Award winner further said that she is not a stranger to living abroad, adding that she also has family members located in other places besides the U.S.
“I’ve always lived internationally. My family is international. My life, my worldview, is equal [and] united. Anything, anywhere that divides or limits personal expressions and freedoms [for anyone] I think is very dangerous,” she added, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Jolie noted that she has to be “careful not to say things casually.” While she didn’t directly address the state of the country, she said that “these are very, very heavy times.”

Although Jolie has not revealed where her new home might be, she might probably end up somewhere in Southeast Asia. She has always been open about her love for Cambodia and has said in the past that she would be spending “a lot of time” there.
