The competition
The 8/128 version of the Realme P3 Ultra is priced at INR 24,000, while the 8/256 goes for INR 28,000. The EU price is expected to be around €300. Undeniably, those are some incredibly competitive prices, and there are plenty of competitors to consider.
Let’s start with the vivo iQOO Neo 10R with an even faster chipset, a larger battery and a better selfie camera. If you live in India, getting the Neo 10R (which is INR 3,000 over the P3 Ultra) seems like the right choice.
The OnePlus Nord CE5 is a copy paste of the Realme P3 Ultra with three notable differences – lower screen resolution and higher battery capacity which should give it a boost in the battery life. The Nord also has a microSD card slot, and these are surely enough to give this one serious consideration.
The vivo V50 is for those wanting the best camera experience within the same mid-range class. The V50 has a lower resolution screen, similar performance and battery capacity, but offers three 50MP cameras with Zeiss optics – a primary, an ultrawide with autofocus, and a selfie one with autofocus as well. The V50 is more expensive than the P3 Ultra, though.
Or, if you insist on having the most powerful smartphone for your money, then the Poco X7 Pro is the one you get. It costs the same as the P3 Ultra, but offers a Dolby Vision display, a flagship-grade Dimensity 8400 Ultra chip, and a similarly large battery. Its battery life turned out inferior, though, and the camera quality is so-so.

Even better, the Realme P3 is priced just right, and it makes sense to recommend it. It boasts an incredibly well-rounded specs sheet, making it a hidden gem in Realme’s portfolio that deserves more attention than it’s currently receiving.
