Prior to CAD and Human Dimensions and Interior Space, chair bucks were a go-to object for those seeking to design a comfortable chair. But these days, we rarely see chair bucks (or at least images of them being shared); the last we spotted was German furniture designer Oliver Trepper’s.

Well, today we found another, this one by Danish industrial designer Henrik Tjærby:

Tjærby whipped this up after getting “tired of chucking out those short term ergonomic jigs.”

His “Ergo 2000,” as he jokingly calls it, along with an angle finder provides a quick and dirty way to work out comfortable seating angles. It would also help with say, customizing a chair for a customer with unusual proportions.
