Gomez was on her husband’s Benny Blanco’s podcast “Friends Keep Secrets,” where she spoke about her 17-year friendship and why she connects with her music, especially meeting as teenagers, where “a lot of huge moments that were self-defining… we were figuring it out.”

The “Only Murders in the Building” actress, who said she’s impressed at how “eloquently put” Swift’s music is, confirmed that Swift’s “Dorothea,” off her 2020 album “Evermore,” is about her.

“A tiny screen’s the only place I see you now / And I got nothin’ but well wishes for ya,” Taylor sings. “You’rе a queen sellin’ dreams, sellin’ makeup and magazines. Ooh, from you, I’d buy anything.”
The lyrics are likely a reference to makeup line Rare Beauty, which, according to Forbes, had nearly $370 million in revenue in 2023.
