Dua Lipa clearly comes by her looks quite honestly.
On Thursday, the English pop star celebrated her father, Dukagjin Lipa, on his latest birthday, by posting a loving tribute to Instagram with photos past and present. “Happy Birthday twin bestie @dukagjinlipa ❤️,” Dua wrote in the caption. “I love you so much.”
As it turns out, the “Houdini” singer was not exaggerating, as evidenced by the photos that she included. Many of the throwback snaps featured a young Dukagjin playing with Dua when she was just a toddler, and in these pictures especially, their resemblance is uncanny.
Many fans took to the comments to note their similarities. One user commented: “You are a clone of your father.” Another jokingly wrote: “Dua and Duo.”
Not only is Dukagjin the Grammy winner’s dad, but he’s also served as her manager since 2022, after she split from her management firm, TaP Music. Additionally, the two have made a number of public appearances together over the years. In 2024, Dua brought her dad as a date to the 66th annual Grammy Awards, and he also supported her along with her mother, Anessa, on various stops during the Future Nostalgia Tour.

In 2018, Dua and her father even launched the Sunny Hill Festival in Pristina, Kosovo, as a way to celebrate their shared love of music. The festival aims to drive tourism to the area, and it has been headlined by stars like Miley Cyrus, J Balvin, Diplo, Calvin Harris, as well as Dua herself, who has performed at the event multiple times.
