The beach is getting full, and thankfully, there’s plenty of lifeguards on duty. Oh no, they’re hot!!! Fox is rebooting Baywatch for the third time — the second was a film adaptation starring Zac Efron — and now TikTokers will be protecting and serving looks. Noah Beck, a TikToker who starred in a few Tubi original movies, is set as Luke, a lifeguard who comes from a family of firefighters. Is this a High School Musical situation where he yearns for the sea but his family wants him to fight the flames? As for how he fits in with the rest of the team, he sees the Baywatch leader and son of Mitch Buchannon, Hobie Buchannon, played by Stephen Amell, as a father figure and mentor.
Beck isn’t the only one joining the team today. Love Thy Nader reality star and model Brooks Nader is making her scripted television debut as Selene, a lifeguard at Zuma Beach who’s excellent at her job but butts heads with Hobie. Other stars include Yellowstone’s Hassie Harrison, Jessica Belkin, David Chokachi, and Thaddeus LaGrone. The series follows Hobie’s secret daughter, Charlie, who shows up unannounced to join the team and continue the Buchannon legacy. It’s set to premiere sometime during the 2026-2027 TV season, with twelve episodes. Get your red swimsuits ready.
