Viola Davis shimmered from head to toe in a look by Sandro for her appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” in New York City on Tuesday.
For her late-night appearance the Oscar-winning actress wore a rhinestone short-sleeve cropped top with coordinated high-waisted pants by the French luxury ready-to-wear label. The cropped tweed top and matching pants were both embroidered with a bevy of black sequins.

Adding further dimension to the top was a removable sinuous collar featuring pearls. Davis coordinated her look with a pair of pointed-toe black heels. As for glam, the EGOT recipient styled the popular bob trend with a side part. Makeup highlights included bold brows, smoky eyes and a glossy deep berry lip.
Founded in 1984 by Évelyne Chétrite, who also serves as the brand’s artistic director, alongside her husband, Didier Chétrite, Sandro’s grown its influence with new partnerships and initiatives. Among them, the French luxury ready-to-wear brand launched a prize in 2025 with Maison Mode Méditerranée in an effort to support emerging talent.
“We wanted to support a meaningful cause that reflects who we are, that could carry our values,” Chétrite told WWD. “We thought, this is what we want to do — to pass something on, to share our craftsmanship, our industry knowledge, and our passion for this work.”

Sandro’s designs cater to both women’s and men’s ready-to-wear styles. Inspired by versatile luxury pieces, the label continues to curate seasonal collections, along with shoes, accessories and other wardrobe essentials.
Viola Davis’ appearance on “The Tonight Show” coincides with the release of her new novel co-authored by James Patterson. “Judge Stone” follows Judge Mary Stone as she balances a case involving her family’s farm within her own courtroom. The novel is now available to order.
