Jaguar will field two international rising talents in the upcoming Madrid Rookie Test, Juju Noda and Bryce Aron. Noda, who hails from Japan, began karting at the age of three and was already testing single-seater race cars on Japanese circuits by the time she was nine years old. In 2024, Juju made history by becoming the first Japanese woman to race in Super Formula, Japan’s premier single-seater championship, joining TGM Grand Prix.

The Madrid Rookie Test marks Noda’s second opportunity in the GEN3 Evo, having previously taken part in the 2025 Women’s Test in Valencia.

Joining Noda in the Jaguar TCS Racing garage is American racer, and Formula E newcomer, Bryce Aron. The 22-year-old is currently embarking on his third season in the Indy NXT series, where he has achieved two podiums and multiple top-ten finishes.
For both drivers, the upcoming Rookie Test will mark an important step in their development – as well as giving Jaguar TCS Racing the opportunity to evaluate emerging international talent.
Ian James, Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal, said: “Over the past few races, the team has shown pace and resilience and turned that into strong results. That means that Madrid – which also marks António’s 150th start in the Championship – has the potential to be a particularly exciting moment in the season. We’re determined to continue building on the foundations we’ve laid.
“We’re also proud to be supporting the next generation of racing talent with both Juju and Bryce, who have already demonstrated exceptional ability and professionalism in their careers. This Rookie Test gives them a valuable opportunity and we’re looking forward to welcoming them to Circuito del Jarama and seeing how they take on this next step.”
Juju Noda, Jaguar TCS Racing driver, said: “I’m very grateful to Jaguar TCS Racing for giving me this opportunity – testing the Jaguar I‑TYPE 7 in Valencia last year was a fantastic experience, and the support and feedback from the team helped me grow a lot as a driver. To now take part in the official Rookie Test in Madrid is a big moment for me, and I’m excited to learn as much as I can and show what I’m capable of.”
Bryce Aron, Jaguar TCS Racing driver, said: “I’m really looking forward to join Jaguar TCS Racing for the Rookie Test in Madrid. With Formula E being a professional World Championship, I’m excited to have the chance to work with a team performing at such a high level – it’s a huge opportunity for me. I will be looking to learn as much as possible from the engineers and drivers, and making the most of every lap.”
