Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto reiterated his country’s “complete support” for a two-state solution in the Middle East, adding that he was heartened by others who’ve made the same move in the past few days.

“We must have an independent Palestine, but we must also recognize, we must also respect, and we must also guarantee the safety and security of Israel. Only then can we have real peace,” Prabowo said Tuesday in his address before the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
