E-pharmacy platform Truemeds has partnered with actor Paresh Rawal to highlight awareness around substitute medicines aimed at reducing the cost of long-term treatments.

The campaign features two brand films built around everyday situations related to medicine expenses. Both films focus on the financial pressure that regular medication can create for households managing chronic conditions.

The first film portrays a father who delays his own treatment while prioritising expenses for his daughter. The narrative reflects how rising medicine costs can lead individuals to postpone or avoid treatment. The film introduces substitute medicines as a possible way to manage such expenses.

The second film looks at common consumer behaviour around saving money in daily purchases while assuming that medicine prices cannot be reduced. It presents substitute medicines as an alternative that could help reduce monthly medicine bills.

“For many families, medicine costs quietly become a monthly stress- often forcing people to delay or skip their own treatment to manage household needs. That reality is what Truemeds is built for. Paresh Rawal represents the trust and relatability we want people to feel when they choose us. Through Truemeds, we want individuals and families to know that quality medicines can come at the lowest prices, and that choosing smart substitute options can make long-term care more manageable without compromise,” said Akshat Nayyar, co-founder & CEO, Truemeds.

“For most families, medicine expenses add up month after month, especially when someone needs long-term treatment. If there are reliable options that cost less and don’t compromise on quality, people deserve to know about them. That’s what I liked about Truemeds- it helps families manage healthcare without constant financial worry,” said Paresh Rawal, Brand Face, Truemeds.

The platform allows users to upload prescriptions or search for medicines online. Health advisors or doctors then suggest scientifically matched branded substitute medicines sourced from pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Truemeds operates across India and focuses on helping consumers manage medicine costs by offering lower-priced alternatives to commonly prescribed medicines.
