The alpha build also brings support for two new up-sampling methods: NVIDIA DLSS4 Super Resolution and AMD FSR3 (on NVIDIA cards only). AI Light 2.0, another new feature, is a hierarchical light-sampling algorithm that builds on Octane’s earlier AI Light and traditional power-based sampling by incorporating full spatial and directional information for all emissive primitives.

The geometry exporter node now supports USD file export and can also embed Octane materials directly within the USD file, so the entire scene is preserved and can be fully restored when reimported into Octane.
