Galit Shaul, head of the Emek Hefer Regional Council, said that “the discovery of a rocket in Tulkarm, following rockets detected near Ramallah, represents a serious escalation. The danger to our communities, as well as to the entire central region of the country, is clear and immediate. We demand significant reinforcement of forces in Judea and Samaria, proactive intelligence gathering, preventive actions and deployment of defensive measures. We cannot wait – this threat must be eliminated quickly and decisively.”
