The Israeli military said an IDF soldier in the Golani Brigade’s reconnaissance unit was killed in south Lebanon overnight.
The soldier was identified as 21-year-old Ori Greenberg from Petah Tikva, central Israel. The incident took place around 2 A.M. Israel time, with Greenberg being killed in a gunfight.
Greenberg is the third IDF soldier killed in Lebanon since the Iran war began.
