Google’s I/O conference is roughly two months away, which means its 2026 Pixel series is on the way, and these leaked renders put a face to the expectations.
This morning (Mar 30), Android Headlines came forward with what’s allegedly the renderings for Google’s base Pixel 11 model. As we’ve become accustomed to, the Pixel 11 is rumored to feature the same rounded corner design and a 6.3-inch display, similar to its Pixel 10 variant, measuring 152.8 x 72 x 8.5mm. The publication alleges that Google might slim down its bezels, giving users a little more screen space. Other than that, the device remains largely the same, even down to its centered punch-hole selfie lens.
Caution was thrown to the wind about the Pixel 11’s camera bar in this render. Typically, Google layers the LED flash bit with a metallic shine, but that’s missing in these images. Nothing was stated about the cameras, so there’s a chance we’ll look to that same 48MP main lens to carry the weight.

Rumors aren’t saying a whole lot about its internal changes. With a new year, a new chip is always expected. That’s where rumors point us toward the more obvious expectation: the Tensor G6. More than that, a very minimal 30mAh capacity increase was alleged for its battery, bringing it to 5,000mAh from 4,970mAh. A bare minimum of 128GB of storage returns to the discussion, too.

If you’re nodding your head about these alleged images, we wouldn’t blame you. We weren’t expecting any huge changes for the Pixel 11’s design, not after Google came forward in August and said, “Every two to three years, we look to try and do something with a new design language.” These were the words of Google’s Chief Design Officer, Ivy Ross, during the launch of the Pixel 10. Additionally, during Ross’ interview, it was confirmed that Google was already “finalizing” the Pixel 11 for 2026 before it started on the 2027 series (Pixel 12).
Keeping that in mind, it looks like the Pixel 11’s look has been locked in for a while already. Google also stated that AI and software are the two main drivers for its Pixel phone series. Since these rumors today don’t say much that’s surprising, we’ll likely have to look at the phone’s features, and that’ll take a while to know for sure.
There were other Pixel 11 rumors late last year suggesting Google might drop Samsung’s modem for MediaTek’s. The latest in this week’s rumors states more of the same, but drops a name: the MediaTek M90. We’re still a few months away from seeing the Pixel 11 series, as speculation says another August launch could be on deck.

I’m not mad at the fact that Google’s Pixel 11 series could look the same. It’s a pretty nice design. Ever since the company debuted it, the Pixels have looked a little fresher. And they certainly stand on their own. I remember people saying Apple‘s latest phones took a page from Google’s book with a “camera bar” of its own. Agreeing with that is an entirely different conversation entirely. I just know Google’s launch for the phones will be packed with features and keynote speeches on “what Gemini can do now.”
