For months now Loathe have been maintaining a cryptic teaser site over at astrangertoyou.com. Many had hoped the initial launch of the site would result in a timely update on the band’s long-awaited follow-up to their 2021 outing “The Things They Believe“. However, as of press time, the status of that proverbial ‘Chinese Democracy’ of modern day alternative metal remains unclear.
While the band have issued a few singles/collaborations in the years since their last body of work, hopes are once again being buoyed by the presence of a countdown timer now running on that site. As you can see for yourself, that timer is scheduled to end in just under a week.
