Bangladesh Bank has announced revised office hours for all banks and non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) as part of the government’s austerity and energy-saving measures to address the ongoing energy crisis triggered by the Middle East conflict.
According to two separate notifications issued by Bangladesh Bank today (4 April), from tomorrow until further notice, all banks and financial institutions will be open from 10am to 5pm, while bank transactions will be conducted between 10am and 3pm.
