Lady Sarah Chatto, one of Princess Margaret’s two children and her only daughter, made a rare public appearance on Sunday, joining the royal family for Easter services in Windsor. Arriving with her husband, Daniel Chatto, the King’s first cousin was dressed in a dark wide-brimmed hat with a navy blue coat. She was most recently seen in December arriving at Buckingham Palace for King Charles’s annual Christmas luncheon.

Along with Christmas, Easter is one of the royal family’s most reliably well-attended gatherings, drawing both senior royals and extended family members each year. On Sunday, the King and Queen arrived at St. George’s Chapel by car. There, they were met by other senior royals including Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence; Anne’s son, Peter Phillips and his fiancée, Harriet Sperling; Prince Edward and his son, James, Earl of Wessex; and the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Notably absent were Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice. Ahead of the weekend it was reported that they would be skipping the family event. Both Eugenie and Beatrice were present last year with their husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, respectively. The news comes following the recent arrest of their father and the former Duke of York, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Neither Andrew nor his ex-wife and the former Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, were with the royal family on its public outing for Easter this year.
