The Phillips sisters certainly don’t need to look far for role models when it comes to welcoming another sibling into the family. Peter Phillips and his sister, Zara Tindall, have a half-sister Stephanie Phillips, who is the daughter of their father, Captain Mark Phillips, and his second wife, Sandy Pflueger. Despite being significantly younger than Zara and Peter, Stephanie is close to the siblings and acted as a flower girl at their respective weddings.

It would seem Peter and Harriet are working hard to bring their two families together before tying the knot. Harriet has already joined the royals for a number of high-profile engagements, including Royal Ascot. She also accompanied Peter and Isla to Cheltenham Racecourse at the start of the year.

Princess Anne, Captain Mark Phillips, Zara and Mike Tindall and their three children, Mia, Lena and Luca are among the family members expected to attend Peter and Harriet’s royal wedding in June. The church is just a short drive away from Princess Anne’s home of Gatcombe Park, in Gloucestershire, suggesting she might host the reception.

The private ceremony is expected to be a far more intimate affair than Peter’s first wedding to Autumn Kelly, which took place at St George’s Chapel in 2008. The groom’s grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, were in attendance as well as his cousins, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and Prince Harry. Kate Middleton, who was then dating Prince William, was also invited, although her boyfriend was unable to attend due to a prior engagement abroad.

This time around there is every chance that the Prince and Princess of Wales will attend. No matter who is on the guest list, the message from Peter and Harriet is clear: their daughters come first.
