Timi has been writing about technology for over a decade, focusing on smartphones, computers, and anything that he finds interesting in the tech space. He started writing for XDA, covering all things mobile, but has transitioned to covering deals, with a mission to shed light on some of the best discounts around the internet on the greatest tech products.

With RAM and storage prices going through the roof, an all-in-one solution like a mini PC can actually be worth looking at if you’re trying to grab a new PC for a more affordable price. Of course, it’s not going to be for everyone, with some claiming that it isn’t a full desktop replacement, but I like to think that mini PCs work for most people, especially if you’re buying one with more power under the hood.

Immense power in a small package

This model from GMKtec delivers, thanks to its powerful AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor that’s paired with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. You can’t upgrade the RAM, but you can upgrade the storage, and it can handle up to 16TB.

And while the integrated AMD Radeon 680M graphics card is good, being able to take advantage of an external card through OCuLink is even better. This version comes in priced at $1,000, which is a monster price.

Luckily, we’re seeing a steep discount that drops the price down quite a bit, now coming in at $640. That’s a pretty solid discount, especially when prices for RAM and storage are at an all-time high.

This mini PC will be able to handle pretty much anything you want to do. It’s a great PC replacement, can play games, and can even handle a little AI as well. You can even make it part of your home lab if you’re looking to start some new projects.
