There is life after Little House on the Prairie, as the show’s many alumni can share.
The iconic show, which is loosely based on the autobiographical Little House book series, follows the Ingalls family as they live on a small farm in Walnut Grove, Minnesota. While some stars who have appeared on the iconic show, like Melissa Gilbert, who played the legendary character of Laura Ingalls, and Jason Bateman, who had a smaller role as James Cooper Ingalls, have gone on to superstardom as adults, others have chosen to avoid the spotlight. Rachel Lindsay Greenbush, who starred as one-half of the team that played little Carrie Ingalls, is one of those.
Greenbush, who played Carrie alongside her twin sister Sidney, was spotted by the Daily Mail out and about in Los Angeles with her husband, Danny Sanchez. Dressed in a red V-neck top, black yoga pants, and black sneakers, the former actress was running errands with her husband when the camera caught a few snaps of her. Luckily, she doesn’t have to sport those giant bangs and braids that were a trademark of Carrie’s look as she got older!

The Post-Little House Life
Like many former child actors, Rachel and Sidney decided life on the TV screen wasn’t what they were searching for, and they decided to return to civilian life. The duo graduated from Santa Monica High School in 1988.
Greenbush and Sanchez’s love story is one that’s meant for TV, however. The duo met years ago as kids on the Little House on the Prairie set. Sanchez, then 14, lived nearby and would sneak onto the set to hang out with the rest of the cast and crew, and since he wasn’t a disturbance, Michael Landon would let him stay. Since Greenbush was only 7 at the time, she barely noticed him. However, the pair reconnected 30 years later and fell in love, according to PEOPLE.
In 2014, they married under the tree where they met for the first time, Greenbush shared in a Hallmark Home & Family reunion special. Now that’s a love story meant for TV!
