Here are Saturday’s updates from the U.S.-Iran cease-fire and Israel’s war with Hezbollah:

■ An average of ⁠at least 47 women ‌and girls were killed each day during the war in ‌Gaza, according to figures published by UN Women on Friday.

■ Lebanon’s ⁠health ministry ‌said on Friday that ‌at least 2,294 people have ⁠been killed and 7,544 wounded ⁠in Israeli attacks since March 2, adding that the toll remains non-final pending debris ‌removal, body recovery and ‌DNA identification.

■ Iran has “agreed to everything” and will work with the United States to remove its enriched uranium, President Donald Trump told CBS News in an interview. However, Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson told Iranian state TV that Iran has never considered transferring its enriched uranium to the U.S.

■ The IDF said that its forces shot and killed a Palestinian who crossed the Yellow Line delineating Israeli-controlled territory in Gaza, alleging that he presented an “immediate threat” to troops.

■ France and U.K. set up naval force to protect shipping in Strait of Hormuz. The multinational force will have a strictly defensive mandate and will operate to secure merchant shipping and clear mines from the strait, subject to conditions allowing such activity after a stable cease-fire.

■ Iran will reciprocate if the U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz continues, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Qaani told Iranian state TV.

■ The IDF said that minutes before the cease-fire between Israel and Lebanon took effect, Israeli special forces landed on the slopes of Mount Hermon on Thursday, in southern Lebanon and seized control of the Christofani Ridge.

■ The northern Israeli city of Kiryat Shmona will shut down schools and services to protest the Lebanon cease-fire, its mayor announced.

■ An Israeli drone ‌strike killed one person ⁠in southern Lebanon ⁠on Friday, the first full day of a U.S.-brokered truce meant ‌to end ‌hostilities between Israel and the armed group Hezbollah, paramedics in the area and the head of a local hospital ⁠told Reuters.
