Actor Shivaleeka Oberoi and filmmaker Abhishek Pathak welcomed their first child, a baby girl, on Sunday (April 19). The couple shared the happy news on social media, calling their daughter “our little Goddess Laxmi” and describing her arrival as “a blessing in its purest form”.
Shivaleeka shared the announcement on Instagram along with a caption that read, “Our little Goddess Laxmi has arrived on an auspicious day. A blessing in its purest form (sic).”
The post also included a message that read, “In a moment our hearts found a whole new meaning! With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our precious. Baby Girl! 19th April 2026. Blessed parents Shivaleeka & Abhishek.”
The couple had announced Shivaleeka’s pregnancy in December 2025 through an Instagram post, calling it the arrival of a “tiny blessing.”
Shivaleeka and Abhishek got married in February 2023 in Goa. They first met during the making of Khuda Haafiz in 2020, which was directed by Abhishek and starred Shivaleeka. The couple later got engaged in Turkey, where Abhishek proposed under hot air balloons.
Abhishek Pathak has directed films like Drishyam 2 and Ujda Chaman, and has also produced projects such as Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Khuda Haafiz, and Section 375.
Shivaleeka began her career as an assistant director on Kick (2014) and Housefull 3 (2016) before making her acting debut with Yeh Saali Aashiqui (2019). She later gained recognition for her role in Khuda Haafiz (2020).
