ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Tom Golisano is investing $125 million in three more children’s hospitals, expanding the Golisano Children’s Alliance to fifteen members nationwide.

Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio will receive $50 million, Dayton Children’s Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, will receive $40 million, and Avera Health in South Dakota will receive $35 million. 

Each hospital will join the alliance and add the Golisano name to its campus. Here are what each hospital’s new names will be:

Golisano says the goal of the alliance is to strengthen collaboration and pediatric care to make sure all children and families have access to the highest quality medical care close to home.

Hospitals in the alliance are able to share research, training, best practices, and advocate together for stronger pediatric healthcare across the country.
