Melissa McCarthy appeared on last night’s episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
For the appearance, she looked so different with a shaggy mullet for her role as a pro fighter.
“LOOK MA I FINALLY MADE IT ON LAW & ORDER 👮🏻!!!!!,” she wrote on Instagram.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has had several iconic guest stars throughout the years, and now, it’s Melissa McCarthy’s turn.
During the Thursday, April 23, episode, the 55-year-old actress looked nearly unrecognizable in an ‘80s-coded shaggy mullet for her role as a pro fighter named Jasmyn Jewell, per Variety.

McCarthy’s character had some flirty tension with Mariska Hargitay‘s Olivia Benson. In one scene, Jasmyn cheekily told her, “I’m always happy to support the babes in blue.”
And when Olivia asked if Jasmyn had seen the murder victim at the center of the episode, Jasmyn responded, “You know what I have seen? I’ve seen that you got a spectacular set of baby browns. And those yams aren’t bad either.” The flirting didn’t end there. She also told Olivia, “I know my way around a pair of handcuffs, if that floats your boat.”

In honor of her first Law & Order: SVU appearance, McCarthy posted a video on Instagram where she surprised Hargitay on set.
In her caption, she wrote, “Sometimes you just have to show up to give a proper ATTA GIRL to a total (ultimate) boss lady ⭐️ Turns out it is VERY hard trying to keep secrets from @therealmariskahargitay on her set but we managed to pull it off and in a world where things are heavy and dark but this day was PURE JOY 🥹🎉💓.”

The Bridesmaids star added, “Mariska, you are the real deal. Sorry everyone lied to you, hope it was worth it (this surprise was six years in the making people)!!! PS LOOK MA I FINALLY MADE IT ON LAW & ORDER 👮🏻!!!!!”

Hargitay later posted a selfie with McCarthy in character on Instagram writing, “SURPRISE!!!!🫨🤯😲💃🏻💃🏻 #MELISKA mind blown and still doing the happy dance! 🥰🥳.”
