The Chinese Lunar Exploration Program (CLEP) is one of more than a dozen projects worldwide looking to visit the Moon, and CLEP aims to achieve a first crewed lunar landing by 2030. At least one of the country’s tyre makers is taking an interest in the Earth’s natural satellite too – in documents published ahead of its Annual General Meeting on 13 May, ZC Rubber signals an interest in developing tyres for future mobility applications beyond conventional automotive use, including lunar exploration.
