Olivia Culpo and her husband Christian McCaffrey are expecting their second child. The model announced the news on Instagram on her birthday May 8, writing, “Best birthday gift ❤️ Baby #2 coming soon 🥹.” The news comes just nine months after the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Colette, last July.

In the announcement of her second pregnancy, Culpo shared a carousel of images showing a family picnic. Culpo wore a loose white dress and cradled her baby bump as she kissed her husband, who matched her in a white shirt. Their daughter sat on Culpo’s knee and matched her mom in a white dress. Displayed on the white picnic blanket were a selection of ultrasound images.

Culpo and McCaffrey previously announced they were expecting their first child last March, before announcing Colette’s arrival on July 13.
Since then, Culpo has shared a few glimpses into life as a mom. Last September, she shared photos from Colette’s first NFL game, where she watched her dad who plays for the San Francisco 49ers. In March, Culpo also shared a snap with Colette, showing off their matching pink swimsuits.
In December, Culpo shared that she is already saving some dresses for her daughter. “I have a whole storage unit for her with all of my wedding dresses, my pageant dresses—all of my really valuable keepsakes,” she said to People.

Culpo also spoke about how motherhood is a “total shift.” “Whether or not you want there to be or not, you have somebody that’s physically dependent on you,” she said while appearing on “The Squeeze” podcast. “So I’m not going to sugarcoat it. Yeah, it’s scary.”
