Amid speculations on their supposed wedding today, May 14, in Spain, Bea Alonzo and Vincent Co are still very much together, but they are continents apart with the actress already in the European state with her family, while the businessman remains in the Philippines.
A source told INQUIRER Entertainment that contrary to initial reports, the supposed wedding of the year was slated on May 14, Thursday, and not May 15.
But probably the biggest telltale sign of the wedding not happening was the fact that while the bride-to-be was seemingly spending some private time with her family in Spain, the groom was halfway around the world, and is even expected to attend a business event on D-Day.

“The wedding is supposedly tomorrow, May 14,” the source, who is privy to the couple’s wedding plans, said during a chat on Wednesday night. “But it’s officially off.”

The source further belied reports circulating on social media supposedly coming from the actress’ camp that the whole thing was just a temporary postponement, a hiccup in their matrimonial plans, and that the wedding would still push through at a later date.
“That’s not true,” the source said.
Still, the source said, “They’re trying to work it out pa.”

Earlier, an information given to INQUIRER Entertainment by another source claimed the cancellation of the wedding was due to some conflict in Alonzo and Co’s prenuptial agreement.
Meanwhile, Alonzo’s showbiz best friend Dimples Romana and her husband Boyet Ahmee posted pictures of their vacation in Spain. Alonzo’s family were also spotted by fans at an airport in Madrid.

The Kapuso actress has been an official resident of Spain since 2022, while Co is the son of Filipino-Chinese retail magnate Lucio Co, and chairs several companies in the Philippines.
Alonzo and Co have not commented on their relationship and or on their wedding plans. /edv
