(WKRC) – Lola Young, a 24-year-old English singer, collapsed mid-performance at the All Things Go Music Festival in New York City on Saturday. While singing her song “Conceited” at Forest Hills Stadium, Young was carried off-stage by medical staff as the audience cheered in support as reported by PEOPLE. The incident occurred a day after she canceled her performance at Audacy’s We Can Survive concert due to concerns about her mental health.

During her set, Young shared with the audience that she had “a tricky couple of days,” expressing that “sometimes life can really make you feel like you can’t continue.” Despite this, she decided to perform, saying, “Sometimes life can throw you lemons, and you just gotta make lemonade.”

Remi Wolf, who appeared onstage after Young’s collapse, reassured the crowd, saying, “My friend Lola is backstage, and she is okay.” Doechii also acknowledged Young during her performance.

Young’s manager, Nick Shymansky, addressed the situation on Instagram, citing a “sensitive matter” for the cancellation and emphasizing the importance of taking protective measures for Young’s safety. He apologized for any inconvenience caused, highlighting Young’s dedication to her fans and career.

“For anyone who saw my set at all things go today , i am doing okay now [sic],” Young wrote on her Instagram Story on Saturday. “Thank you for all your support.”

Young, known for her 2024 hit “Messy,” has been open about her mental health struggles, including living with schizoaffective disorder, which she was diagnosed with at 17.

Young was nominated for the Brit Award for Rising Star in 2021 and for Best Pop Act in 2025.
