To recap, recent rumours have suggested that Apple settled on its 2026 and 2027 release schedules months ago. According to popular Weibo account Experience More, Apple still intends to only offer the iPhone 17e during the first half of next year. Then moving into autumn 2026, Apple is expected to stick with a quadruple flagship launch event that includes the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and the tentatively-called iPhone Air 2.
However, the iPhone Fold will replace the iPhone 18, albeit not entirely. Instead, the latter is believed to be joining the iPhone 18e during 1H 2027. Apparently, the iPhone Air 3 and iPhone Fold 2 will then land in autumn 2027 with the iPhone 20 Pro and iPhone 20 Pro Max instead of the iPhone 19 series. In the meantime, Apple may have upwards of nine other new devices set for release before the middle of next year, too.
