Here are Saturday’s latest updates from the U.S.-Iran cease-fire and Israel’s war with Hezbollah:

■ U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the United States is “more than capable” of resuming military action against Iran if diplomatic efforts fail, speaking at the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore. He said Washington continues to support efforts for a “significant agreement” aimed at preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons.

■ The adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mohsen Rezaei, said the United States is “betraying diplomacy for the third time” by continuing a naval blockade and making excessive demands, in a statement on Saturday.

■ The United States expects Israeli and Lebanese military delegations to reconvene soon for security-track talks at the Pentagon, a senior Defense Department official said, after earlier meetings focused on establishing a coordination mechanism.

■ Kazakhstan has shown willingness to store Iran’s near weapons-grade uranium if a deal is reached between Washington and Tehran, the Financial Times reported, citing the head of the UN nuclear watchdog.

■ Israel has rejected a Lebanese cease-fire proposal and insisted on the “dissolution of Hezbollah” during military-level talks in Washington, according to the Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Mayadeen network, citing a Lebanese official source.

■ The United States imposed new sanctions on an Iranian procurement network accused of defrauding U.S. companies to obtain restricted goods for Iran’s Ministry of Defense and armed forces, the Treasury Department said.

■ The Palestinian Red Crescent said it treated four people wounded during an Israeli settler attack in the village of Madama, south of Nablus in the West Bank. One person was shot in the leg, another sustained shrapnel wounds to the face, and two others were beaten, according to the service.

■ A Hezbollah rocket fired from Lebanon struck Kiryat Shmona overnight, damaging businesses in the city center, with no injuries reported. The IDF said 10–15 launches were identified, most of them intercepted, while local officials reported one impact in the city center.

■ Sirens were activated in several Upper Galilee communities in northwestern Israel, with sirens reported for the first time in Ayelet HaShahar and Sde Eliezer since the Israel–Lebanon cease-fire was declared on April 14.
