June 2 (Reuters) – Wall Street’s main indexes ‌opened lower on ‌Tuesday after hitting a series ​of record highs, while blowout results from Hewlett Packard Enterprise and ‌a ⁠funding commitment from Alphabet underscored investor ⁠confidence in the AI buildout.

The Dow Jones ​Industrial Average ​fell ​166.0 points, ‌or 0.33%, at the open to 50,912.84. The S&P 500 fell 4.6 points, or 0.06%, ‌at the ​open to ​7,595.4, ​while the Nasdaq ‌Composite dropped 56.7 ​points, ​or 0.21%, to 27,030.072 at the opening ​bell.
