■ Iran and the U.S. continue indirect negotiations despite ongoing strikes, with reports of talks over a possible interim understanding and mechanisms for releasing frozen Iranian assets. Iran’s negotiating delegation said there are still unresolved issues in talks with the U.S., including regional arrangements. A senior Iranian official reiterated that Tehran will not accept an Israeli presence in southern Lebanon or Israeli “freedom of action” there.

■ Iran accused the United States of a “gross violation” of international law and cease-fire arrangements, saying the attacks render the truce “practically meaningless” and warning of a “legitimate defense” response.
