Despite the royals always seemingly being around horses, it seems Kate Middleton, also known as Catherine, Princess of Wales, just confirmed a long-standing rumor about herself (and how it affects her life as a royal going to all of these events).
InStyle pointed out that Princess Kate has often been photographed sneezing several times during the Trooping the Colour service, as well as at other annual military performances and the Royal Ascot events in previous years. Besides being a royal event, they have another thing in common: they all have horses.

And it seems Kate is actually allergic.
It was rumored that she’s been doing immunotherapy and exposure therapy to help her with the symptoms, but she was still caught sneezing at this year’s Trooping the Colour. While she’s never publicly commented on it, fans sympathize with how annoying allergies can be (and with a million cameras on you? Literal nightmare).

For those who don’t know, at the 2026 Trooping the Colour, Kate paid the ultimate homage to Princess Diana in a pale blue Catherine Walker ensemble that looks insanely similar to the one Diana wore to the Easter service back in 1987. She paired the look with a hat by Philip Treacy, Irish Guards brooch, and earrings by Cassandra Goad! (As well as a bracelet Diana frequently wore!)
