A trailer for Landman season 2 has debuted. The hit Taylor Sheridan series, which is led by Billy Bob Thornton, returns to Paramount+ on November 16. Along with Thornton playing Tommy Norris, Landman’s cast includes Ali Larter as Angela Norris and Demi Moore as Cami Miller.

Landman season 1 ended with Tommy being saved under unexpected circumstances and Jon Hamm’s character, Monty Miller, dying, leaving questions about what will happen next in the cutthroat world of the oil business.

Now, Paramount+ has released a season 2 trailer, which provides the best look yet at Sam Elliott as Tommy’s father, T.L. There is a shot of Cami sobbing and falling to her knees as she looks at a picture of her and Monty, along with Tommy continuing to make daring decisions. Check out the trailer below:

After previously starring in 1883, Elliot is now playing another major role in a different Taylor Sheridan show. Thornton was also in 1883, which makes Landman a reunion for the two stars in Sheridan’s constantly expanding TV universe. The relationship between Tommy and T.L. will inevitably add new complications to the series in season 2.

T.L. has already made an explosive impression in the trailer by punching another individual and knocking him to the ground. At the same time, though, there is also a thoughtfulness to the way he says that he’s wasted 60 years of his life and encourages his son to take a good look at him.

Meanwhile, Monty’s death will have a significant impact on the new season, especially where Cami is concerned. While the first shot in the trailer shows her breaking down, the rest of the trailer sees her determined to honor his memory, which includes working with Tommy this season.

Our Take On The Landman Season 2 Trailer

Elliot’s scenes in the trailer confirm that he is a perfect fit for Landman season 2. He already proved how well-suited he was to Sheridan’s TV universe in 1883, and he is doing so again in Landman, portraying a character this time who seems to be equally wise and fearsome.

As for Cami, her significant presence in the trailer indicates that she will have a larger role in season 2, which can address the criticism of her role not being prominent enough in season 1. The combination of new and familiar characters, along with higher stakes, makes Landman look like it has another hit season on its hands for Paramount+.
