TMZ spoke to sources who say Keith Urban is going through a midlife crisis.

On top of his divorce from Nicole Kidman, the country singer fired his band of 25 years.

Nicole filed for divorce after news broke that Keith was dating someone new.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s split went from “they might get back together” to “he’s dating someone new and they’re getting divorced” in under 48 hours, and now sources in the former couple’s inner circle are out here saying Keith is experiencing a mid-life crisis.

Per TMZ, Keith’s “close confidents” think “this is a midlife crisis”—and it’s not just the decision to walk away from his 19-year marriage (reminder: Nicole wanted to make things work). Apparently, he also fired his band of 25 years in January. And then there’s the fact that he’s seemingly moved on with another woman.

FYI, this update comes amid Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop reporting that Nicole believes that Keith’s closest friends were keeping his alleged infidelity a secret. “Nicole feels blindsided not just by Keith but by the silence of the whole group,” a source said. “She can’t understand how no one gave her even a hint—not Blake, not anyone.”

Another insider said that rumors about “late nights and mysterious disappearances” were circulating in the group for months, and that “Looking back, Nicole sees it now. The jokes, the awkward pauses, the looks—they were signs. She just didn’t want to believe them. She thought they were her friends too. Now she feels betrayed by the whole world Keith came from.”
