iOS 26

Apple released yesterday the first updates for the ’26 releases of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. The major updates were released two weeks ago, and they brought a new Liquid Glass interface across all platforms, a new multitasking interface on iPads, and major updates to Spotlight on macOS.

iOS 26.0.1 fixes some connectivity and photo issues on iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro models, and the update also addresses other problems with VoiceOver and home screen customization.

Here is the full list of issues fixed by iOS 26.0.1:

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth may occasionally disconnect on iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro models
A small number of iPhone users may be unable to connect to a cellular network after updating to iOS 26
Photos taken under certain lighting conditions with iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17 Pro models may include unexpected artifacts
App icons may appear blank after adding a custom tint
VoiceOver may become disabled for some users after updating to iOS 26

iOS 26.0.1, iPadOS 26.0.1, and macOS Tahoe 26.0.1 also address a security flaw where processing a maliciously crafted font may lead to unexpected app termination or corrupt process memory. This security vulnerability has also been addressed in iOS 18.7.1 and iPadOS 18.7.1, macOS Sequoia 15.7.1, and macOS Sonoma 14.8.1, which Apple also released yesterday.
