Molly Ringwald and her 21-year-old daughter Mathilda made a rare appearance together at the premiere of Monster: The Ed Gein Story on Tuesday. They both walked the New York City red carpet wearing white satin.
Ringwald paired a button-up blouse with a black leather midi skirt, adding on gold kitten heels and layered necklaces. She wore her auburn tresses in a wavy lob with curtain bangs, while her makeup consisted of pewter eyeshadow, coral blush, and a rosy mauve lip.

Mathilda, who is the Sixteen Candles star’s eldest child with husband Panio Gianopoulos, opted for a simple slip dress along with a cross pendant. She completed her look with pink satin ballet flats.
Ringwald and Gianopoulos have been married since 2007 and also share a pair of fraternal twins, Adele and Roman.
Earlier this year, Ringwald and Roman walked in Lingua Franca’s fall 2025 fashion show as part of the brand’s first-ever New York Fashion Week presentation. The actress wore a red-and-white striped silk shirt dress layered underneath an oversized floral cardigan. She also added on a pair of blue velvet platform clogs.

Meanwhile, 16-year-old Roman modeled a black T-shirt printed with The Bowery Hotel’s logo, along with a gray hooded sweatshirt, khaki corduroy shorts, beige knee-high socks, and black loafers.
Back in January 2009, Ringwald announced that she and Panio were expecting fraternal twins nearly six years after welcoming their eldest child.
“I was so, so lucky to be 41 and to be so healthy during this pregnancy,” Ringwald told People at the time, adding that her twins are her “miracles.” “Having a son as well as another daughter, it was just a really grand surprise,” she shared. “Miracles? You could say that.”
