The launch marks Gap’s latest high-profile collaboration following its recent successful capsules with Victoria Beckham and KATSEYE. This time, however, the focus is entirely on denim. Bieber worked alongside the Gap design team to reinterpret two of the brand’s signature fits—the Extra Baggy Jean and Low Rise Loose Jean—using two pairs of her favorite vintage Gap jeans as the starting point. Each style is $89 and will be available in three washes, with the Low Rise Loose available exclusively online.

Each pair features custom “1996” hardware and back patch detailing—a nod to her birth year—along with her signature printed inside the pocket lining. Bieber has frequently been spotted wearing Gap jeans over the years, making the collaboration feel especially fitting. “This project came together very organically because Gap has always been a part of my wardrobe,” she says. “And 1996 has always felt iconic to me because there was something so effortless about that era and the way people wore denim.”
