Assuta Hospital in Ashdod announced that the woman whose death was pronounced following a traffic accident in the city was in an advanced stage of pregnancy. The hospital stated that “during the incident, it was decided to perform an emergency cesarean section. The preemie was extracted, immediately underwent resuscitation procedures and was transferred within minutes for continued treatment in the neonatal intensive care unit. Her condition is critical.”
