Tom Holland made an endearing comment on Zendaya during The Odyssey Press Tour.
During a recent interview alongside his fellow castmates, Robert Pattinson, Matt Damon and Anne Hathaway, the 30-year-old actor addressed a theory about Homer’s epic and the relationship between Odyssus and his wife Athena, played by Zendaya.
“‘Did Athena love Odysseus romantically?'” Tom read aloud in a Wired interview. Answering the fan question swiftly, he said, “No, because she’s married to me.”
Matt jokingly responded, “Yep, good answer.”
The playfulness continued later on once Robert asked the group, “‘What does Athena teach Telemachus?'”
The lead star then answered, “True love.”
After months of speculations and tight lips from the couple, Tom has been more open about his marriage to Zendaya over the past few weeks.
During a recent interview with Esquire, he confirmed the nuptials during a discussion about the viral fake AI wedding photos of the two on Lake Como, Italy.

The actor said his grandmother had called him after seeing the photos, believing she hadn’t been invited to the wedding. When asked if any other family members had thought the same thing, he responded, “No, because they were all there.”
When asked for more details on their secret nupitals, he replied, “That’s all you’ll get on that.”
Marriage speculations first began when Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, revealed she was able to tie the knot without a big facade.
While attending the 2026 Actor Awards in March, he told Access Hollywood, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.”
Despite his claims, Law refused to confirm nor deny his original statement.
In the midst of The Drama Press Tour, Zendaya did take a moment to address the rumors.
While appearing on The New York Times’ podcast Modern Love, she explained she does understand the two are in a high-profile situation. However, she has chosen to respect her own boundaries as a “private person.”
“I try my best to be able to have things for myself, and for him as well,” the actress explained. “We do our best in general to not hide ourselves from the world, but just to preserve things for ourselves so that we can maintain that joy just within ourselves and our loved ones and our family.”
