The Blink Outdoor 4 features one of the best deals I’ve ever seen at 61% off, courtesy of Amazon’s Big Deal Days sale, also known as October Prime Day. This deal brings the price of three Outdoor 4 cameras and a Sync Module down to only $75, a savings of $115 from the original price of $190.Â

As a battery-powered outdoor security camera, the Blink Outdoor 4 stands out because it operates on AA lithium batteries, which can provide power for up to two years, depending on usage. This means you won’t need to worry about setting up wiring or constantly recharging it. This feature also means that you can set up this camera almost anywhere, with an easier installation that doesn’t require a cable to be run to each camera.
I’ve seen these cameras installed on trees to catch wildlife, on fences to keep an eye on intruders, and outside garages to overlook driveways. I have one on a Floodlight Mount, overlooking the side of my backyard that doesn’t have lights, which has proven extremely helpful in taking my dog out at night over the past two years.

The cameras support 1080p HD resolution and feature infrared night vision, which is a great benefit for the price and should be enough to meet most users’ needs. However, you can also get person detection and cloud storage with a Blink Subscription.
This bundle includes three Blink Outdoor 4 cameras and a Sync Module Core, which plugs in inside your home and connects the cameras in the vicinity. Blink also upgraded this camera’s motion zones to help reduce false alarms, especially those caused by animals or shadows.

How I rated this dealÂ
A Blink Outdoor 4 three-camera bundle with a hub can often retail around $150-$260, so getting this kit for only $75, a 61% discount, is a significant markdown. This set is sufficient to surveil the outside of an average home, or as a starter set for a larger property. At 61% off, I gave this deal ZDNET’s highest rating, a 5/5, as it’s an excellent deal for a full system.
This deal appears to be part of Amazon Prime Big Deal Days, also known as October Prime Day, so I’d expect it to expire when the event concludes on October 8.
