Love is Blind season 8 delivered us only one lasting couple who are still together but plenty of drama from the other pairings who didn’t make it past the altar.

In early 2025, we watched five couples get engaged in the pods but only four made it to their wedding day. Even a walk down the aisle wasn’t enough to seal the deal for three of those couples who called it quits in front of their families and friends (and cameras) in the finale episode.

However, fans of the show know that even an “I do” or “I don’t” doesn’t always reveal what happened between couples after cameras stopped rolling. There have been plenty of Love Is Blind divorces, couples who dated after breaking up at the altar and, of course, marriages that were built to last. So, how are the Love Is Blind season 8 couples doing after the show?

Which ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8 Couples Are Still Together?

Taylor Haags and Daniel Hastings are the only couple from Love Is Blind season 8 who got married on the show and they’re still together. The pair, who regularly share relationship updates on social media celebrated their one year anniversary in March 2025.

However, two more stars of the show did begin a relationship after the show ended. Sara Carton and Joey Leveille, who both got engaged to other people in the pods and later ended those relationships, went public with their relationship in July by sharing some PDA-filled photos on social media.

“Happy🥹. my newest life chapter title,” Sara captioned the Instagram post, tagging Joey.

No surprises here, Taylor and Daniel got married in a the season 8 finale! But are they still together a year later?

These two faced a major hurdle early on after getting engaged but it has been easy breezy ever since. After meeting face to face, Taylor couldn’t shake the feeling that Daniel once followed her on Instagram and knew what she looked like before entering the pods.

However, the pair quickly patched things up after Taylor got her phone back found no evidence for her theory. Things went off without a hitch on their vacation and back home where they met each other’s families and got positive reviews!

At the altar, both were quick to say “I do” and revealed their post-wedding plans. “We are so excited to start the next chapter as Mr. and Mrs. Hastings,” Taylor told cameras beside her new husband, before joking, “We will definitely be consummating the marriage… Operation consummation!”

Are Taylor and Daniel still going strong? Yes! At the reunion, Taylor and Daniel were enjoying married life and revealed they just purchased their first home.

In May, they renewed their vows in another celebratory ceremony. “Yesterday we said ‘I do’ a second time with a vow renewal and dancing the night away with 400 of our favorite people. What a gift it is to choose each other again and again,” Taylor wrote in an Instagram post on May 31.

Virginia & Devin: Not Together

Virginia and Devin are no longer together after breaking up at the altar.

Though these two had a pretty easy ride to the altar, things took a turn in the final episodes of the show when they did not align on financial goals and politics opinions. While Virginia said she’s pro-choice and typically votes Democrat, Devin revealed his family is conservative but he doesn’t have strong political opinions.

Tensions previously arose when Virginia said she wants a prenup whereas Devin has never thought about that before even though he later agrees to sign.

Though Devin said “I do” at the altar, Virginia said, through tears, “I’m just not ready.”

She later told cameras, “There were just depth of our relationships we didn’t get to… even our sexual relationship, we just didn’t get to it. I think we should be all the way there before we decide to spend the rest of our lives together.”

Virginia also revealed that “communication” was an issue and says that Devin received a check as a wedding gift but didn’t tell her, leaving her to find out from his mom.

At the reunion, Virginia revealed that she struggled to see a future with Devin after off-camera conversations revealed that he didn’t agree with her support of the LGBTQ+ community, a woman’s right to choose, and freedom of religion.

Monica & Joey: Not Together

One of this season’s biggest shocks was Monica turning Joey down at the altar in spite of their drama-free journey from the pods onwards.

They quickly only had eyes for each other, connecting because of their quirky personalities and Joey’s “golden retriever” energy.

Back home to Minneapolis, the only major hurdle these two faced was Monica’s sister Nicolle having reservations about Joey but tensions were quickly eased after they spent more time together.

On their wedding day, Monica felt like it’s too soon to commit and worries that Joey’s feelings are not strong enough.

“It’s a little uncomfortable for me to really trust in his words, rather than seeing his emotions,” Monica said to her wedding party, noting that Joey is more analytical. “I’m holding back because I haven’t gotten 100% from him.”

At the altar, Monica told Joey she loves him for the first time but said “I don’t.”

“I just feel like we’re not quite there,” she said through tears.

“I think we both have a tremendous amount of love for each other, and that’s apparent,” Joey said in agreement, revealing he was also planning to say no. “But I think there’s bigger things and bigger growth and I agree. I don’t think I would be ready. I need to be 100%. And to be completely 100% honest, I’m also not 100% at this time.”

The pair did leave things somewhat open ended so did Monica and Joey get back together after the show? No. The pair revealed in the reunion episode that they did not date after the show.

“Joey and I do not talk,” Monica also confessed to E! News. “Joey’s tried to reach out to me and I’m exhausted. I don’t have time. I tried to have a romantic relationship with Joey—that didn’t work out. I tried to have a friendship with Joey—that didn’t work out.”

Sara & Ben: Not Together

Sara and Ben broke up at the altar after a red-flag-filled romance.

After not fully seeing eye-to-eye on issues like anti-racism and the Black Lives Matter movement, which Sara said was important to her but Ben admitted he was “ignorant” about it, they moved forward with their engagement.

But, when they started living together in Minneapolis, Sara came across a TikTok video from a woman who claimed she was “manipulated” by Ben. Though Ben denied it, saying he just ghosted the woman, Sara seems skeptical.

At the altar, Sara said “I don’t,” telling Ben, “I love you so much, but I’ve always wanted a partner to be on the same wavelength, and so today I can’t.”

“I don’t want that to be misunderstood. I still love you and everything about you is amazing, and I care about you so much,” she added.

Afterwards, Ben suggested they stay together and “keep growing our relationship,” to which Sara replied, “We’ll see. We’ll talk about that.”

So, did Sara and Ben date after the show? Yes but not for long. At the reunion, Sara revealed that she and Ben tried to continue their relationship and even planned to relocate to Nashville together while she wrapped up her travel-nursing contract there. However, when she left a few days before he planned to join her, he ghosted her.

“I felt like I was completely love bombed,” she said of their relationship. “I fell for it.”

Lauren & Dave: Not Together

Lauren and Dave broke up in Feb. 28 episodes of Love Is Blind.

The pair got engaged in episode 6 of Love is Blind after surviving a love triangle with fellow contestant Molly with whom Deve also formed a connection.

The 33-year-old medical device salesman proposed to the 31-year-old education saleswoman and things initially went smoothly outside the pods.

However, when the couple returned to Minneapolis, they realized Lauren had a fling with someone in Dave’s social circle before going on the show. Dave has a pretty major reaction even though Lauren, and her friends, insist it was never serious. Dave’s friends, though, claim it was and he doesn’t know what to believe, leaving Lauren frustrated about being forced to defend her character.

Ultimately, Lauren’s patience ran out. “This is something that you need to work through,” she tells Dave. “You’re not ready to choose someone else and be a team member.”

In one of the season’s most uncomfortable scenes, Dave decides to end the relationship. “It’s very hard for me to just walk away from it,” he says, “but my heart thinks it’s the right decision.”

Lauren and Dave are not together but Dave did reveal that he thinks Lauren is “the one that got away” after finally realizing that the man Lauren had a fling with was exaggerating about their connection. Lauren, however, wasn’t buying it so I think we can assume these two are done for good.
