LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — 21 potential jurors were brought in for questioning Tuesday.
Nine potential jurors were excused. The remainder were told to return on Thursday at one p.m. for the next round of jury selection.
Between Monday and Tuesday, a total of 19 people have been selected so far to possibly be jurors in the murder trial of Tupac Shakur.
Judge Carli Kierny wants a total of 36 in the next round of jury selection, which starts at one p.m. on Thursday.
There will be 50 more new potential jurors who will report to court on Wednesday morning,
Court resumes at nine a.m. on Wednesday.
3 P.M.
A tenth person was questioned by prosecutors but not by the defense. She was asked to come back on Thursday for the next round of jury selection.
An eleventh person was a man who immediately informed the judge he had migraines before the questioning process started and was excused.
A twelfth person was called in for questioning. She is a woman who works for a local government agency.
The eighth and ninth potential jurors were asked to come back on Thursday.
2:15 P.M.
Court is taking a 15 minute break at the request of Davis.
The fifth, sixth and seventh people questioned on Tuesday are moving forward, meaning a total of 11 people have been selected to move forward.
The eighth potential juror to be questioned Tuesday will be called when court resumes.

The fourth person, a woman, was told to come back on Thursday at 1 p.m. to continue the jury selection process.
The fifth person being questioned said he has family involved in the criminal justice system. The prosecutor is questioning if those relationships may impact his partiality.
He was asked his opinion about the justice system. He says no system is perfect but it works for what we have.
Defense passed on the the fifth person for cause, but he was asked by the judge to come back on Thursday at 1 p.m.
Seven people made the cut on Monday. Two were excused.
The first three on Tuesday were excused before the defense attorney had a chance to ask questions. The first had a language barrier, the second said he might not be impartial, and the third had a financial hardship.
12:30 P.M.
Three additional potential jurors were dismissed Tuesday during initial questioning. One mentioned the four- to five-week trial would be a financial hardship for him.
The fourth potential juror is currently being questioned.

The jury selection process is expected to continue Tuesday in the Las Vegas trial of the only man charged with the murder of rap icon Tupac Shakur.
Duane Davis sat with his attorney on Monday as Judge Carli Kierny described the selection process.
Before the process began, Kierny confirmed with Davis that he waived his right to jury sentencing, meaning the judge will determine all penalties if he is found guilty.
Monday started with 75 potential jurors, but more than 20 were excused. Individual questioning started in the afternoon, and most were asked to come back Thursday to continue the process.
Jury selection is expected to continue through Friday, with opening statements anticipated for Monday, Aug. 17.
Prosecutors charged Davis, now 63, with murder, along with deadly weapon and gang enhancements, for the fatal 1996 shooting of Shakur near the Las Vegas Strip. Authorities alleged Davis provided the gun that was used in retaliation for a brawl involving his nephew, Orlando Anderson.
He has pleaded not guilty. His previous attorneys have argued that past comments about the shooting were bluster meant to profit from television and book deals.
