R&B star Ne-Yo shoved a fan who suddenly joined him onstage during a concert in Kobe, Japan, on Saturday, People reported.
The performer was singing his 2007 hit “Because of You,” according to Billboard, when the spectator strutted toward him and turned to the crowd for attention. Ne-Yo shoved him hard in the face and neck area as security could be seen converging.
The “So Sick” singer later offered a warning to anyone who might attempt the same stunt.
“This is what you DON’T do. I’m a gentleman but I WILL slap the shit out of a person disrespecting my stage,” he wrote on his Instagram story. “And then keep the party going. Don’t try me. All love, til it’s not.”
A publicist for Ne-Yo declined to comment.
“My love life is phenomenal,” he said.
Just don’t try to share the stage with him.
