Market participants note that investors remain hesitant to take aggressive positions as they seek clarity on U.S. inflation trends and the trajectory of monetary policy. Some analysts point out that rising long-term interest rates are weighing on equities.

Key events to watch ahead include U.S. economic data releases and remarks from Federal Reserve officials. Market expectations regarding the timing and magnitude of additional rate cuts remain mixed, and investors appear poised to await fresh catalysts.
