The head of Israel’s election committee, Supreme Court Deputy President Noam Sohlberg, said on Sunday that there was no reason to provide leading opposition candidate Gadi Eisenkot with a security detail, citing Shin Bet security agency chief David Zini, despite the domestic spy agency granting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu security guards for life just a month ago.
