The popularity of Spider-Man cannot be denied. The most recent entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, continues to climb the leader board of most successful movies ever. Released at the end of July, Brand New Day has already amassed $2.33 billion at the box office in just 31 days.
Its $2.33 billion mark is good enough for third on the overall standings, with Brand New Day just passing Titanic and Avatar: The Way of Water. Brand New Day now sits only behind fellow MCU movie Avengers: Endgame and the original Avatar, which have made $2.79 billion and $2.92 billion, respectively.
In Tom Holland’s fourth installment as the web slinger, Peter Parker must deal with the fallout of the failed spell from Doctor Strange in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Forgotten by everyone in his life, he has to figure out his own identity before it consumes him.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is still in theaters now.
