U.S. President Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform that he is not trying to force Iran back to the negotiating table. “I don’t really care if they sign a worthless agreement – for them,” he said. “I like our current position better, with complete control of the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s economy collapsing. They are playing the inevitable. When will the Iranian people rise up and fight?”
